If you don’t know the name of the animal, take a picture or draw it, making notes about its colour, size and anything special that might identify it. If you can’t find the name straight away, add the picture and notes to the folder anyway – someone from another class might know or you might come across it yourself another time.
The Herbarium PLUS folder will become more interesting, useful and valuable as you add more information.
Look up your plant in www.noosasnativeplants.com.au under "Associated Species". If you can add information about other animals using the plant, please contact us.
