What Local Native Plant Is That?

In Bushland Near Your School

LOCATION

On the Sunshine Coast many of us have Bushland over the back fence or within walking distance from our school.  Here you  will find the common trees and shrubs and understorey plants:  grasses, creeper, ferns, covering the ground.

At first glance there seems to be a great variety of species, but a closer look will reveal that there will be more examples of one plant.  For example, there might be scribbly gum trees, or paperbarks.

Find the most common.   (There may be several)

Very soon you will need a local expert to help you put a name to some of the plants.  Your school has a list of local people who can help.
