What Local Native Plant Is That?

In Bushland Near Your School

Field Notes

Are you a good observer?

There are lots of things to see when you are in the bush but you will have to be quiet if you are going to see all the creatures that live there.  Don’t forget that some of them sleep during the day , sit in the tops of trees, hide or burrow underground.

Some are very small.

You may need to use your magnifying glass.

Make notes to remind you when you get back to the classroom. So take a notebook with you.

Make some sketches

Write a poem

Make up your own common name for a plant.
