Catchment Detox from ABC Science is a fun and educational on-line game that challenges players to manage a river catchment, so that after 50 years there will be a healthy economy and environment. The site also contains a lot of resources about rivers and catchment management.

Ollie's Island is full of games, adventures, videos, E-books and projects (even a rap song), on consumption, waste and sustainability.

Brisbane City Council has a simple and fun Recycling Game online. It also has several challenging word and crossword puzzles.

SKM Recycling has two recycling quizzes which are quite practical.

Melbourne Water's Floods Explorer is an interesting interactive online stormwater activity.

Waterwatch Adelaide's Kid's Stuff  page contains a set of fun animations explaining Wetland Processes, how litter and sediments affect the wetland critters and the role of wetlands in nutrient uptake and bacteria removal.

SBS Insight forum on Rubbish aired on 5 May 09 gave informative and interesting discussions covering recycling "do's and don'ts", resource recovery, food waste, E-waste, packaging and consumption.

The Story of Stuff with Annie Leonard is a 20-minute, fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns. It exposes the connections between a huge number of environmental and social issues. It's informative, provocative and funny!  There is now also the Story of Bottled Water and the Story of Caps and Trade.

EcoCycle has an alarming video on waste with introduction on the Zero Waste System.

Synthetic Sea by Algalita Marine Research Foundation explains in detail the formation of the North Pacific Garbage Patch and the global problem of plastic wastes.

Visy Recycling has two short animated videos on steel can and glass bottle recycling, and presented videos on the Smithfield Material Recovery Facility (MRF) currently processing 50 tonnes of recyclable waste per hour for Sydney Council.

Brisbane City Council features a Recycling Video showing the sorting and processing of recyclates inside the Visy Materials Recovery Facility on Gibson Island to the making of "new" recycled products.

Bullfrog film Addicted to Plastic, directed by Ian Connacher, reveals the history and worldwide scope of plastics pollution, investigates its toxicity and explores solutions.

NOAA has several videos to raise awareness about marine debris.

The Plastiki Expedition has video clips on the catamaran made from 12,000 reclaimed plastic bottles, designed to raise awareness about sustainability.  The expedition started from San Francisco in Jan 2010 and will finish in Sydney.  Onboard the cat are some interesting features like a hydroponic garden and pedal bikes that power the navigation system and coffee machine!
